I love seeing Aaron – he is thorough and really massages and stretches you in ways that you didn’t know were possible. You walk out feeling like a whole new person. I got the relaxation massage and I’m pretty sure I fell asleep at least four different times. Nicholle was incredible! Before we started, we talked about how my legs have taken a beating while training for a marathon, and she made sure to include some movement and deeper work where it was needed. Not only was the massage relaxing, but she also tailored it perfectly to what my body needed most. The space is calm and welcoming, and parking was super easy right behind the building off Woodward. I have now had three 90 minute deep tissue massages at Essentials Massage Therapy. All three were fabulous — I slept for 14 hours after the first one! However, today’s massage with Cat was out of this world. It’s obvious that she really knows how different muscle groups work together, as she focused on muscles that would lead to sore spots as well as sore spots themselves. I noticed a detailed musculoskeletal anatomy poster on her wall. Her stretching was gentle, yet incredibly effective. The cervical traction was great.
