Jennifer has been a massage therapist since 2007. She was in the last class taught by Irene Gathie, founder of Irene’s Myomassology Institute. She worked at a physical therapy office for many years, treating patients, guiding them through exercises in the gym, and providing therapeutic massage. Before becoming a full-time massage therapist, she worked as a paraprofessional in Royal Oak Schools, working with autistic children.
Jennifer is trained in Swedish, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Thai, Shiatsu, and Lymphatic massage, and has also completed Yoga teacher training courses. She is focused on making sure her clients are heard and receive a massage tailored to their individual needs.
Outside of massage, Jennifer is a jack of all trades. She has worked at a construction company doing everything from building decks and kitchens to bathrooms and teardowns. In her free time, she enjoys being creative and spending time outdoors — biking, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends. She has a daughter, three stepchildren, two dogs, a fish, and a chinchilla.
